Welcome to OpaSings
Meet Opa, a proud grandfather born in Holland in 1954 and residing in Australia since 1978. With a loving family of three grown-up children and nine grandchildren, Opa has found a unique way to connect with his distant grandchildren through music.
Introducing OpaSings, a personal experiment where Opa creates a special bond with his grandchildren by singing and playing musical instruments. So far, the project has been a resounding success, with the grandkids responding with their own musical performances and even holding concerts with Opa.
This is an ongoing project that aims to challenge and expand Opa’s comfort zones. Each month, he will perform and seek feedback from his audience. Who knows, perhaps next year Opa will be painting or dancing! Whatever it may be, the goal is to bring joy and entertainment to family and friends alike. Join Opa on his musical journey and be a part of this evolving project.
